We work closely with nursing professionals and nursing undergraduates to improve a range of nursing related numeracy skills. Whether you need to polish up your infusion rate calculations, your dosage calculations or just refresh your unit conversions, our range of questions and videos will help you improve your clinical numeracy calculations.

According to the NCSBN, some key numeracy related aspects of NCLEX-RN examination will assess that the candidate can:

  • Perform calculations needed for medication administration
  • Titrate dosage of medication based on assessment and ordered parameters
  • Evaluate appropriateness and accuracy of medication order for client
  • Handle and administer high-risk medications safely
  • Use clinical decision-making/critical thinking when calculating dosages
  • Apply knowledge and concepts of mathematics/nursing procedures/psychomotor skills when caring for a client receiving intravenous therapy

As such, our provision of medicines management assessment has become more comprehensive, with more formative assessment provided, and ultimately improved clinical competency for our students. The system is easy to navigate for admin users, and the support provided is very impressive. The team are always open to suggestions to change functionality or better suit our institution's needs.
